Study Group of the "Poststempelgilde" within the BDPh. e.V.
German Youth Philatelists Association, Inc.

We're more active than you might imagine.

We are young people between the ages of six and twenty, and we meet regularly to collect stamps together.

Of course, you can do this on your own, but it’s much more fun as a group! At our meetings, you can talk with other young collectors about our hobby and learn a lot of new things. Our group leaders will help you build a great collection.

In addition to stamp collecting, our groups also offer other recreational activities such as sports, games, and day trips.

What We Offer:

  • Community: Regular get-togethers featuring stamp collecting and fun.
  • Knowledge & Professional Literature: Tips and tricks for stamp collecting. Catalogs, magazines, and reference books are available.
  • Support: A practical guide to building your own collection.
  • Exhibitions: Help for first-time exhibitors and participation in the U.S. and abroad.
  • Activities: Weekend get-togethers, vacation camps, and pen pals all over the world.

Association of Young Stamp Collectors

Working Together to Support the Next Generation of Philatelists.

Our History & Goals

The Friends Association was launched in 2001 by dedicated collectors and was officially founded in 2003 at the annual general meeting in Weimar. Starting with about 15 members, our community has grown steadily.

Since then, funds have been flowing into the Friends of the DPhJ through annual dues, donations, and auctions to support important DPhJ youth projects. For example, this made it possible to provide substantial funding for the 2006 national conference, as well as for the annual German Team Championships for Young Stamp Collectors are regularly funded.

Please support us!

To enable us to do even more, we rely on your help—because many hands make light work! Even a small contribution can add up to make a big difference. You can decide the amount of your annual contribution yourself (minimum contribution: just 20 euros per year).

As a small token of our appreciation, our loyal members receive philatelic surprises from time to time.
